How to use the Template Variable Processor
Turn a reusable text template into completed copy with automatically generated fields, dropdown options, independent sections, and optional split results.
Create a template
Write your text in Original template and add placeholders such as [[name]]. For dropdown choices, use a format like [[plan: Basic||Plus||Pro]].
Generate and complete fields
Select Process and generate fields, then enter values in Generated fields. Each value updates the completed text automatically.
Copy the result
Review Resulting text and copy it. Add a line containing ----- when you want the output divided into separate copyable result boxes.
Frequently asked questions
- How does the Template Variable Processor work?
- Write a template with variables such as [[name]], process it, fill in the generated fields, and copy the completed text from Resulting text.
- What syntax should I use for template variables?
- Use double square brackets, such as [[customer]] or [[email]]. The tool detects these placeholders and creates matching fields automatically.
- Can I create dropdown fields with predefined options?
- Yes. Separate options with two vertical bars, for example [[plan: Basic||Plus||Pro]]. The generated field becomes a dropdown with those choices.
- Can I use more than one template in the same session?
- Yes. Plan Plus or higher users can add independent sections, each with its own Original template, Generated fields, and Resulting text.
- How can I create multiple result boxes?
- Place a line containing exactly five hyphens, -----, in the Original template. The result is split into separate text boxes, each with its own copy button.
- Is my template saved in the browser?
- By default, templates, sections, and generated values are saved in this browser using local storage. You can disable storage, reset saved data, or continue without saving.
